What Is A Boudoir Session? n

Boudoir sessions are tasteful photos that create a sexy feeling for the viewer. Every person has their own idea of what sexy is as well as what they are comfortable with. These sessions are cute, fun, sexy, flirty and even a bit sensual all the while staying within your comfort level.

Hair & Make-up

I have two hair and make-up artists who I work with on a regular basis. If you do your own makeup please it will need to be a bit darker than you normally wear it. If you hire one be sure to let whoever you hire know that you’re having a photo shoot done as your make-up will need to be a bit darker than you normally wear it.

Body Image & Weight

Most women I photograph don’t have bodies like a super model but that doesn't mean that we can’t have gorgeous, sexy photos as well. I know how to highlight your assets best while disguising the parts of you that you’re self conscious about. Just remember… your significant other loves you just the way you are.

Props

Be creative. Your photo session will be more personalized with the addition of special items of your own. Fresh flowers are nice. Anything you or he collects or any sports you are active in make great props

Fashion inspired – Your sexiest outfits. Career inspired – Business Suits, Police Uniforms, Firefighter Turnouts, Doctor Coats, Construction Belts, etc…

Clothing Choices

Bring clothing that you feel sexy and beautiful in. Bras, panties, corsets, teddies, stockings, tank tops, booty shorts, sports jerseys & men’s business shirts are all popular. Don’t forget to bring accessories for each of your outfits as well as your sexiest shoes.

Modesty & Nudity

You don’t have to take your clothes off to be sexy. Clothed, partially clothed, hinted nudity and fully nude can all be sexy. Let me know what you’re comfortable showing in your photos and trust me to keep the parts you want hidden to stay that way. I offer fine art nudes while many other photographers do not. Be sure to ask for any thing special when booking your session.

Girlfriends Sessions

You and three to four of your best girlfriends can get together and do your sessions at the same time. These can be done at the studio, your home or in a local hotel and are a guaranteed giggle-fest. We will arrange for someone to come and do your hair and make-up, do your own or do each others. Each of you will be photographed individually as you are dressed (or undressed) and ready. Be sure to have some food and drinks handy as it can make for a long but very fun day. At the end when everyone is dressed I take a group shot to commemorate the session.

Couples sessions

These sessions are romantic, sensual, playful, fun and always tasteful. Typically these sessions show you and your significant other cuddling, jumping on the bed in addition to photos of each of you individually. I let my clients who are interested in this type of session know the perfect time to do it is when they plan a weekend ‘away’ at a local hotel. No dishes to be done, no dinner to be made, no kids or pets needing attention – just the two of you away from all of life’s distractions for a photo session and a weekend of fun. 

Where to do your session

Your session can be done at a studio, your home, a local hotel, bed and breakfast and even outside in a private or secluded area. Check my Vacation area for Costa Rica and Mexico sessions.

Tips for the morning of your session

Drink lots of water and wear loose fitting clothing. Avoid tight fitting undergarments as they are the most likely to leave elastic pressure lines on your skin.

Tips for after your session

Getting into and holding some of the most flattering poses can give you a surprise work-out so don’t be surprised if you’re a little sore that evening or the morning after. Be sure to drink lots of water.

Always private and confidential

Q: Will my photographs appear on the Internet or anywhere else without my permission?"

A: A few Our clients have released photographs you see on our Testimonials page. This is the only way we will display photographs. We have a very private studio and we pride ourselves on our confidentiality.


Q: How long does it take for my photographs to be ready?

A: Generally, we have your portraits ready for viewing during your session and you take a CD of all the images with you. Depending on which album, calendar or package you choose, your order may be ready within a week to two weeks. Rush service is available upon request.


Q: Can I bring a friend to the session?

A: Yes, please only invite one family or friend to your session. It is our feeling that some of our client's relax with a guest present in the studio for the session.


Q: I'm not exactly at my goal weight, should I wait until I lose a few pounds?

A: We highlight your best features. With the proper wardrobe selection, posing and lighting techniques, we find our clients are pleasantly surprised with how great they look.


Q:How revealing do I have to be?

A: How revealing or conservative you want to be is up to you. Some clients do a variety of poses, some for "his eyes only"' and one for his desk at the office. We offer nudes or semi-nudes, if requested. Our clients tell us they are much more relaxed Lawrence as the photographer and can be more open to trying more sensuous poses. At your pre-session consultation we can discuss the poses you feel most comfortable with.


Q: I'm nervous. I've never done anything like this before.

A:We find that once our clients meet our staff, make their wardrobe selections and have their hair and make-up done, they feel a lot more relaxed and ready to enjoy themselves.


Q: Can I purchase a gift certificate?

A:Gift certificates can be purchased in any session amount.
