Boudoir photographic sessions are designed to capture that perfect Portrait. Professional photography is an art, not a science, therefore sessions will vary in length depending on the client.
Consultation
Before any session comes a brief Boudoir Photographer consultation between you and I. We will discuss your ideas about the portrait session, the types of portraits you like, your comfort level, and what you hope to achieve with the portraits. This consultation can either be done via email, over the phone or in person before the session.. We'll discuss what should be brought to the session, including clothing and props, and how you should prepare. We will finish the consult during your make over.
Boudoir photographs have a single overarching purpose: sexual arousal.
You should think about what will arouse your lover?
What sexual questions does he ask you?
Does he like one part of your body more then others? Butt or boob man?

The list is endless, really. The key point here is that some real-life sexuality that both you and your lover can share.
Hair and Makeup
When you arrive, you'll sit down and be pampered with a glamour make over. You should arrive as a blank slate, Please no makeup and moisturize your face and body before you leave for the studio. Your hair should be washed and dry. The three of us will talk about your options, which may be quite different depending on the type of photography you're looking for. Example, 40s pinup style makeup is very different than current glamour. Your makeup and hair session should take anywhere from 40 to 60 minutes depending on the complexity of the style.
Session
We shoot at a very relaxed pace, working with your comfort level at all times. We start with some glamour shots as I guide your poses and we work on your expressions. I also tease to bring out your natural style. The key is to have fun and develop trust between the two of us, because as you get more comfortable, it absolutely shows in the pictures! Then we load the computer with your shots, go over them to check how we are doing. We look at your poses and expressions and I will give you some helpful hints.
Next we work on the specific style of portraits you want to achieve, Boudoir ( bedroom ), 40's Pinup, art nudes or glamour during this portion of the session we have developed some trust between us, and the poses and expressions will look more comfortable and we can capture that perfect Portrait, this is where you are comfortable and your natural creativity will show through. The girl he knows and loves.
Viewing
Once all the photos are downloaded, we will sit down and view the raw files, Go over them to Verify we have that perfect portrait, then and only then the shooting is finished. If you want to see photos in black and white or sepia, we can do that at this time. The viewing is meant to give you an overview of our session, prints can of course be ordered at this time but the normal process is to order from home.
After our session, I will put all the photographs into a Private password protected Online Gallery for easy viewing and ordering. Any questions or concerns can always be addressed directly to me either via email or phone.
Notes
Your part of this session is to be comfortable and have fun. My part is to guide you into poses that bring out the sexy top model you have been hiding. Sessions should be planned out for approximately one and a half hours over the session length.
Our standard sessions include one look for makeup and hair. You can get as many additional looks as you'd like added into your session, please make your makeup artist aware of your plan before they leave. |
